Ok so I'm finally going to admit that social media might be able to help me generate more business contacts.
I just embarked on a facebook ad campaign to build up our online public relations business. So far, no real leads - but I'm optimistic. I've also ramped up my Plaxo and LinkedIn profiles to make myself appear more available as well as let people know the contacts I'm looking to build.
The article below was a fairly basic - yet useful - eye-opener to what needs to be done. What I like most about social media - other than it mainly being free - is that it's targeted. The ability to find - or have people find you - that are potential prospects is priceless.
