Quit Facebook?
What's all the fuss about?
Some folks are so annoyed with Facebook that there's a staged "Quit Facebook Day". Why?
Wasn't having a space for people to put themselves out there the entire point? Now that it's been accomplished, we're moving on? I don't think so.
This appears to be just another, "build it up so we can break it back down" approach. It's been done with many-a-pop star, movie star, you name it. We make 'em and then we try to break 'em.
If privacy is your concern, quitely kill your profile and move on. If you feel that targeted advertising is an issue, then don't bother going online anymore. Perhaps you might want to go find residence in a cave somewhere while the world progresses. My opinion - it's all just silly.
